Among the many things that they did worthy of mention are the annual htLost and Found,, auction, the distribution of bus tickets for ttout-of-town7, games and con- ducting various fund raising drives.

N ational H onor Society One of the highest honors that a Marcellus Central School student can attain is to be elected to the National Honor Society. The National Honor Society is a nation- wide organization founded in 1921. The Marcellus chapter was formed in 1948. Each year the faculty elects five per cent of the Senior class and ten per cent of the J unior class to this organization. These students, who must be in the upper third of their class, are chosen on the basis of scholarship, leadership, service and character. The faculty advisor for this group is Miss Charlotte Smith of the Citizenship Education Department.
