shATED John Woods Diana Ryan Arthur Wilson john Bednarskr David Olmsted Sally Sheridan Kenneth Mace Iudrth Black Alice Sherman STANDING Agatha Santmrer Walter Scharer Beth Fitting Rrchard Niles Albert Ewers Edward Green ay Ann Sweet Arnold Zrnnecker Mary Campbell Mrs Doris Kelly STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council of Marcellus Central School was organized in the spring of 1947 Since then it has opinions and suggestions of the students in regard to school activities These are discussed fully by the Council before they are put into effect or rejected During this past year the Council sponsored the annual Halloween Party This was a big attractlon, with a talent show bingo relay races dancing and refreshments of cider and doughnuts The Council also held an auction in October of all the unclaimed articles 1n the Lost and Found Depart ment Robert Hunter and Arthur Wilson were the auctioneers Red Cross boxes were filled to be sent overseas and the membership dr1ve for the Junior Red Cross was conducted by the orgamzatlon The officers who served durmg the past year are President David Olmsted Vice President John Bednarski Secretary Sally Sheridan Treasurer Arthur W1lson worked very efficiently with Mrs. Kelly, its adviser, and with Mr. Driver.
