School Committee The Marblehead School Committee, headed by Mr. John Ormiston, and com- posed of five other outstanding citizens of the town of Marblehead, Dr. Stanford W. Hopkins, Mrs. Wilson H. Roads, Mr. Richard S. Thayer, and Mr. Richard A. Farrell, is the backbone of the Marblehead School System. All changes of cur- riculum, schedule, and teaching are made by them. They handle school publicity, and supervise the educational system from the grammar school grades through Senior High. In a sense our entire education obtained in Marblehead is due to their efforts and devotion to duty.
