EIGHTH GRADE Eighth graders . . . nobody ever really paid them too much attention. They’re “junior high,” those little guys that seem- ed to fill the halls between classes and overflowed the cafeteria during lunch. In the junior high community, however, they were the big shots, the pros. They had already become involved in school activities, and by the end of the year were well on their way to beginning their senior high careers.
