If only time would pass until we graduate. Now you have reached one of those wished-for spots. You are graduating from a fine high school. All too soon the time will come when you look back to your first eighteen years of life and wish that you could re-live some of •your happiest moments. If you have failed to open some gates of opportunity, you still have time to loose the locks. I hope that the ideals of Marathon High School will guide your actions, so that you may develop into worthy and honorable citizens of this great country. May the eternal qualities - loyalty, kindness, justice - be per- manently yours. 1 Kathy Hartman, Steve Shaw, Jay Brock and Debbie Eville Natalie Zolan, Randy Jones, and Becky Davison Seniors Sam Pollard, Sara McCarthy, Joan Jurgensohn, and Mark Philcox Mona Lisa Hale, Bruce Peterson, Michelle Len ninger, and Louis Williamson Yvonne Peters, George Willis, and Rhonda Moore Bobby Young, Jo Ann Rose, Cheryl Roche, and Eddie Peterson Monique Perret, Willie Carpenter, and Marie Artigue 1970 Debbie Pullinger, Darryl Carty, Richard John son, and Ferata Hall Sarah Williamson, Clyde Ferrell, Johnetta Williams, and Tim Scott Gary Rode.
