After much hard work and through the efforts nf many generous people the band finally got their uniforms. These uniforms were first worn at the Homecoming game when the band pe rformed at half time: The nezl important event was the district contest, this year the band made all excellent ratings, showing a marked improve- ment over previous years. THE MARATHON DOLPHINS HAD A WINNING SEASON THIS YEAR WITH A GEORGE BRICKHOUSE 14-4- GAME VICTORY. AFTER WINNING THE DISTRICT CONTEST IN MIAMI THE TEAM TRAVELED TO GAINESVILLE FOR THE STATE CONTEST A FIVE-DAY VACATION OF FUN AND RELAXATION.
