The Parent-Teacher Fellowship is a working organization of parents and teachers whose primary concern is to develop a mutual un- derstanding among the teachers, the parents and students of IVIaranatha. Among their many activities are monthly meetings with varied programs featuring stu- dent and faculty participation, fund raisers which have contributed greatly to important projects, and their continued support to ex- tra curricular school activities . life - businessmen, ministers, doctors, contractors , and others, work diligently at their monthly meetings and in between to keep IVIaranatha operating smoothly on a sound financial basis . Without a Board of Directors there would be no lVIaranatha High School, and we thank them for their untiring effort to the cause of Christian education.

OUR VICE PRINCIPAL MR. KEN CRONQUIST WAI, K Congratulations, America, on your 200th birthday, and now we em- bark on a new beginning--the third century of our nation . As I reflect over this new beginning, there are several that come to mind at lVlaranatha during our past school year: a new freshman class, new teachers, a new schedule Cseven periods a day, ughll, new class officers, a new homecoming queen and princesses, new school plays, and, of course, a new sport, CROSS COUNTRY. What have all these new beginnings meant to us? They certainly have provided us with fun, excitement, suspense, and a sense of achieve- ment. But the greatest satisfaction of all comes when we hear of a new beginning in Christ. The Bible speaks of a new beginning in Christ as old things passing away and new things coming . lVly desire for the class of 1977 and our entire stu- dent body in this new century of our nation is to focus on the things to come as we engulf ourselves in Christ and His VVord .
