rv-st ff' Special Educators Fill Need For Unusual Help Special programs continued to be an important part of Maranals curriculum. Marana had Special Education to aid students in learning skills. The special educators devoted much of their time to helping the exceptional students of the school, who had learning difficulties. Some of these students found a full-time place on cam- pus when the construction class completed building be- came their classroom. Many special learning needs were met in separate special courses as well as within regular programs designed to build self-sufficiency skills. Also, some of the Special Education students proved an impor- tant campus asset when they worked on various cafeteria jobs during lunchtime. Participation in this special pro- gram increased this year and the school was proud of its student-aid program. l.
