rience being a student at MVH. Dewagne Taylor - I like surfing, skate oarding, and being with my friends. My most memorable time was last summer. I'll never forget the time in the ASB. I plan to go to col- lege. I was in wrestling 10, 11, ASB 12, Skippers, 12. Philosophy: Be kind to others, they may be kind to you. Hi, mom, and thanks to MIP, IRF, LB, 1IZlBd and SQ for all the good times we a . Manuel Torres - fMenoJ I like music, being around and working with people, being wealthy, spending time with my family, being success- ful in life. My most memorable time was my senior year, running for BMOC, being in ASB. I'll never for- get the ASB elections of 1980, being involved in the MECHA club, the teacher strike, and student body of my time. I plan to attend college and be employed by a large record com- pany and do a lot of traveling. My greatest accomplishment was being president of the MECHA and the soccer club, and being appointed Commissioner of Activities, and graduating. My most embarrassing moment was giving my presidential campaign speech in front of the stu- dent body. I was in Movimento Estu- diante Chicano de Aztlan, Soccer Club, Inter-Club Council, ASB. My philosophy: Live each day to the fullest, for life is short. I would like to thank my parents for their love, support, and understanding. Ro Torres - CTiger, Ratton, Thim- blell like the moon, to run Dave over with my Moped, math analysis. My most memorable times were having battles in the Waddell Sea, Camping, T.M., 1979 camping trip, Mrs. Iohn- ston's 5th period, 1979-80. I'll never forget 1980 Varsity Baseball Team, Football, Altar Boys, hamburgling with Alan, Homecoming, 1980, heli- copters on December 4. I plan to become a Checkoslavakian revolu- tionary and lead a revolution in my homeland and free it once again. My greatest accomplishment was 1981 CIF Baseball Team, and landing T.M. My most embarrassing moment is every day in math analysis. Mrs. Waddell would burn me. I was in Frosh and V Baseball 9, 10, 11, 12: V Football 10, 11, 12: Baseball Backers, Varsity Alphabeta Club, ASB. My philosophy: Locks left on large P.E. lockers will be cut off. I'll remem- ber the baseballfwrestler wars. Charlotte Trainer - fSharles, Wild Woman 21 I like going to concerts, Rock and New Wave, and going to rowdy parties that end early in the morning, and of course skating P.B. with Iean 8: Barb. My most memora- ble time was both Dance Chore shows, and finally making cheer- leader and when we got a Superior trophy at camp. I'll never forget my friends, Iean, Kim, Barb, Annie, Mary, Bill, Chachi, and everyone, especially Mr. Mills, the Summer of '80 and Sweethearts, '81. I plan to major in business at SWC and live a happy life. My most embarrassing moment was getting sick after party- ing down south at Tilley's on Ieans birthday. I was in Pep Club, Dance Chore, and a Varsity Cheerleader. My philosophy: Never put yourself down -because no goal is too high to reach if you really want it. Gary Vanderwyst - I like Karen, surfing, football, wrestling, running, working on my car, photo, and kick- ing back at the beach and playing Over the Line with the Ebony Street Crew. My most memorable time was going to Karen's for the first time. The Motor Home Invasion. My only interception in football, and my first pin in wrestling. I'll never forget my senior year, football, and wres- tling practices. Book break in O'Neill's. Iune 22, 1980. Teacher strike. I plan to maybe go explore nature for awhile then hit college, then plan forward for life. Most embarrassing moment was dropping an interception that was in my hands: when Opie beat me in wrestling for the first time in 10th grade. I was in Varsity Football C2 yrsj, IV Football K2 yrsj, Wrestling, IV and Freshmen Track, Varsity, Surf Club, Letterman's Club, Varsity Club, Wrestling Club, and the UCWA. My philosophy: Always go forward in life and to do what you do best. Class of '81 is 4:31. Too bad we never got the senior lawn or sen- ior line but I think seniors deserve it. I'll always remember B.M., B.M., A.G., I.G., N.C. and K.W. I love you. Finally get to graduate. Does that mean We're adults? Tammgf White - I like swimming, guys, eing with my friends, going places that I have never been before, and having fun. My mostmemora- ble: my best friend Terry. I am so glad to have her for my best friend and sister. I'll never forget my x-boy- friend Mike Williams. I will always love him, for as long as I live. I hope to marry the man that I truly love. My philosophy: Enjoy what you have in life because you only live once. I wanted to thank my Mom and Dad for everything that they have ever done for me, and to let them know that I still love them very much. Thanks, Mom and Dad. Charlayne Wieland - fBlondieJ I like spending my afternoons with Pat, partying, and growing up. Most memorable time: Sweethearts of '80 with Pat. I'll never forget my closest friends Pat G., Mary C., Lisa K., and my chemistry buddies. I plan to go to SDSU and major in mathematics and have a great time. My greatest accomplishment was spending three years with Pat. My philosophy is: Be yourself, not what other people want you to be. I want to wish my sister the best of luck for her H.S. years. Linda Willibey - I like dancing, summer days and nights, and being with close friends. My most memora- ble time was Ir. Ditch Day and Sweethearts. I'll never forget my Iun- ior and Senior Year with N.F., L.L., I.C., I.H. and all the good times shared with Pablo. My future plans are to go to college, move out this summer and be happy. I was in Let- terettes, Track, Dance Chore, and Powderpuff Football. My philosophy is if you love something set it free, if it comes back to you it's your. If it doesn't it was never meant to be. Dione Woolstenhulme - fKellyj I like reading, cooking, watching sun- sets and being with my friends. I'll never forget all the sob stories Karen and I shared, or the B.B's and the I.C.'s. I plan to go to the Police Acad- emy and become a policewoman. My most embarrassing moment was hav- ing the car die in the middle of I.B. Blvd. and then my backing the car into a stop sign so I could get out of the road. Thanks Mom and Dad for putting up with me. Artemiza Zaragoza - fSqueeksj I like coconut ice cream from Oasis, and Ice Cream sandwiches from any where. My most memorable time participating in Powderpuff and being beande by the inferior, paltry underclassmen Irs. I'll never forget when the Pink Zone helped to kid- nap the football players and the T.P. master piece at Mr. Burke's house. My future plans are to go to SDSU and major in Business, primarily Accounting and eventually become a C.P.A. My greatest accomplishment was being acceptedgat SDSU in the Business Department. My most embarrassing moment was having the fainting syndrome called the Artie Disease. I was in S Club, Prez, Ir. and Sr. Class Sec.fTreas. V Tennis, CSF Life Member, Pep Club and an active member of the Pink Zone. Philosophy: If you are determined in life, you will reach your goals.
