William Morrison -1Wild Bill1 I like fine lines, fine women, frosty Hei- nekens, and rock 'n roll. I have belonged to the IV football 1101, var- sity football 111-121, wrestling 1121. Virginia Morton - 1Dirginia1 I like being close to Doug and being with my friends, going skiing, walking on the beach, and on windy days I like going to the mountains and to fellow- ship meetings. My most memorable moment was being on the Sweet- heart Court and I'll never forget the day that I met Iesus. My future plans are to get into a career I really enjoy doing and get married 2!23!80. My greatest accomplishment was getting through school and graduating. I was involved in Surf Club and Fellow- ship Group. My philosophy is to treat others the way you would like to be treated. I would like to thank all my friends for making my years at Mar Vista worthwhile. I love you Doug! I made it, Mom and Dad. Rebecca Mosqueda - 1Becky1 I like being on the newspaper staff, Mrs. Kuhn's dance classes, Miss White's business classes and Mrs. Waddell's math class. My most memorable time was when I was awarded Scholar of the Week in my sophomore year. I'll never forget when S Club went to Camp Cuyamaca and all of us dressed up as characters from the Wizard of Oz. I plan to go to South- western College for a year and then transfer to SDSU upon getting my CPA. My greatest accomplishent was maintaining a B+ grade point aver- age. My most embarrassing moment was when I tried to wheel away a projector without unplugging it. I belonged to S Club, CSF, Pep Club, Girls' League and Knowledge Bowl. My philosophy is Goals are set to achieve success while dreams deter- mine one's destiny. Daniel Munoz -1Primo1 I like party- ing, being with Yvonne. I will never forget boring soccer practice with Coach Layba. My plans are to attend Southwestern College and major in Computer Science. I belonged to soc- cer club, played Soccer 10, 11, 12. My philosophy is to set a goal for your- self and then accomplish it. Bill Nimmo - 1Roto Tom Nimmo1 I like drumming, football, boogie boarding. My most memorable moment was killing Chula in the Homecoming game. I will never for- get playing the Rotos, and trying to get all of that stickum off my hands. I plan to go to SDSU, be in computers, make money, and play drums till I die. I belonged to IV and Varsity Football, CSF 111!121, Band 110!121. Maria Nunez - 1Chelo1 I like sports, partying, being with friends, and being with that special someone. I will always remember receiving a trophy for Most Outstanding Ath- lete, 1980 because I didn't expect to win. I'll never forget all the fun I had in sports with al my friends. I plan to go to college and someday marry that special guy. My greatest accom- plishment was making the Dean's Honor List 14.01 2nd semester my Iunior year. Also receiving an award in every sport since I was in tenth grade. My most embarrassing moment was my interview for com- missionarship. I'll never forget standing in refreshment line at the Padre Stadium, not aware that the national anthem was being played - I noticed everybody was standing quietly still, so I said, Did somebody mention E.F. Hutton? I plan to major in Art. Perhaps become a fine architect. My greatest accomplishment was winning the Fine Arts Plaque Award. I belonged to Knowledge Bowl, King's Com- pany, Chess Club, CSF, Team Ten- nis. My philosophy is not to be fake, but to be real. I'll never for- get Sweethearts, '76, '77, and '81. I'll never forget the times spent with the gang after games, at La Bella's, and ice skating. I plan to further my edu- cation at a university and major in accounting. My greatest accomplish- ment was being accepted in Who's Who and receiving a medal from the D.A.R. I was in Pep CLub 19, 101, Skippers 1121, ICC 191, CSF 1121, PAA 19, 10, 11, 121, Freshman Class Secre- tary and Log Staffer. My philosophy: Patience is golden - the longer the wait, the richer the reward. I'll never forget being with my Estela Uellybeanl or my Buto boys and the Belat Bunch. I was in Pan Asian, ICC, Human Relations and Band. Ken Larson - I like having fun with friends. I'll never forget the time David Hand fell down outside the ROTC room. I plan to go into the Navy. I was in NIROTC. Scott Lathers - fScottyJ I like rac- quetball, OTL, and being with Litta. I'll never forget meeting Litta in Book- Break. My philosophy is: it's your life, so live it the way you want to. Linda Lewis - fHowreyJ I like being with my friends and taking long walks with Bob. My most memorable time was my Ir year with Bob, Accounting class and the day after I became engaged. I'll never forget all my friends and good times at MV. I was in Dance Chore, Sea Breeze and the S Club. Sigfredo Llorens - fSigJ I like hunt- ing, fishing, offroading and running. I'll never forget the first time I held Kelleys hand at Disneyland and the first time I kissed her. My most mem- orable time was when our X-country team won CIF. I plan to go to college and major in law enforcement and you bet, marrying Kelley. Karen Long - CKimJ I like skating, dance, swimming, and talking on the phone. I'll never forget when a friend pulled down a guys pants in PE, or meeting Ralph a police officer. I was in Pep Club and Softball. Michael Lopez - fRabbitJ I like blondies, jumping 13', and making touchdowns. I'll never forget when the Choirboys terrorized the school and city, like running through Sweet- waters banner. I was in Wrestling, Football, Track and Golf. Choirboys are the boys that made the papers and kept the pride up in the school. Eliana Loyo - fLilij I like dancing, skiing, having good times with my friends and being with Wayne. I'll never forget the great times spent in cheerleading of the Devil Rebels fAB,NF,TFl and my buddies KNF, LW. ICJ I plan to move out with Nancy and Linda and go to State. I was in Cheerleading, Dance Chore, S Club, Powderpuff Football and Gymnastics. Richard MacDermot - tRickJ I like Linda, spending pay-checks and ice cream with Linda. My most memora- ble time was 5!1!80, Track 80, Class of 81 and kissing Linda for the first time. I'll never forget the BV Track meet and the dance after. I was in Football, Soccer, Track, and Senior Class President. Class of '81 rules. Tamara Martin - fTamij I like rac- quetball, riding my horse and spend- ing the evenings with Tiger. My most memorable time was being on the Sweethearts Court and getting together with Tiger. I'll never forget how exciting Homecoming was, also the helicopters on Dec. 4. I was in Pep Club, Ir. Vice-Prez. Varsity Club and Basketball. Armando Martinez - fMandoJ I like 3 wheeling, camping, cruising halls, and girls of course. My most memo- rable time was the day we won C.I.F. cross-country. I'll never forget when we toilet papered Benni H.'s house then sang silent night for him. I also won't forget D.S., S.L., I.O., T.P., A.R., Patt 8: Linda R. N.P., Bills, K.R., R.B., L.H., K.B., A.B.,. T.F., MON. C., Philosophy - Try to achieve some- thing of importance every day for you or for a friend. Then the day wasn't wasted. Arminda Martos - CMindyj I like eating, reading, dancing, keeping busy wfbreaks in between, trying to get a tan, stuffed animals esp. Hunch. Most Memorable - crazy times in cheerleading, Girls' State, Homecoming Queen, A.S.B., and cheerleading camp. Will never forget when Mellissa was my crazy pal. Greatest accomp. getting as far as 4'9 . Most embarrassing - falling off the bench in front of everybody at lunch. Philosophy: Be yourself so you can find out what to improve in your personality. Lohn McGill - Likes cruising, oozin, working on cars, and Rock- N-Roll. Most memorable 79-80, 81 football season, last day of school 81. I will never forget, B.B., I.I., I.C., R.C., Most embarrassing moment: all the times Matt 8: Casey threw me in the Trash Cans. ' Mike McKenzie - fMcZenzieJ I like Raquet ball, the beach, Partying, cars 8: girls. Most embarrassing - getting thrown in a trash can in my fresh- man year by Clyde Smith and Brian Lepire. Clubs - Golf. Philosophy - Live and let die. Michael McKissock - fMikeJ I like partying with my friends, and Rock N Roll. My most memorable time was fighting B.T. behind bleachers in 9th grade. My future plans are go to S.W. and become a millionaire. My most embarrassing moment was playing target for the seagulls. I was in I.B. Bong Club, and I.V. Baseball, t10thJ. My philosophy is Don't be part of the crowd do what you think is right, not what your friends do. Iulie Mele - U00-Iooj I like being with special friends, C.B., C.P., L.S., K.B., and I love being myself. My most embarrassing moment was when C.P. put a playgirl centerfold in my Myth!Folklore folder and I opened it up in front of the whole class. My philosophy is Remember to be happy and follow your foot- steps whereever they may take you. Bruce Milne - I like football, base- ball, and being with good friends. My most memorable moment was W.I.W.I.T.B.B.A.P.C.U.B.A.H.I.M.P. I will never forget my junior year, when we beat Hilltop two times in a row, also I won't forget Rat, Ala, Poke, Buck, D.P.D., Bo jack, Mar- tin , Val-Mally, Susie K., Bird, Spatty , Cheryl, Choch, Miss Ricasa, Rose 8: Oscar, Pat , Dad Oneill, KC, Opie, Matt, Marlene, Scott and CRS. I Plan to go to college and major in Agriculture. My great- est acomplishment was winning the Metro title in Baseball over Hilltop, winning 3 games in Football 80 and making all-Metro Football Honora- ble Mention. Darlene Monto a - I enjoy being with my friends, surfing, partying and spending loads of time with Bob. I'll always remember making Home- coming Court and being escorted by my brother, Lloyd. My philosophy is If you have something good, don't ever let it go because some day you'll regret it. Michael Peterson -1MIP1 I like surf- ing, camping, off-roading, laughing, eating harvey dogs at MVHS football games. My most memorable times were W.B. Mills' core class. I'll never forget senior ditch day, getting a C in ASB. My future plans are to go to a university and get an education, then to hang out under the pier. My greatest accomplishment was discov- ering Interferon. My most embar- rassing moment was saying the pledge for the first time. I will never forget how my parents did the best for me. I plan to join the Navy. My greatest accom- plishment was when I won a medal of honor cadet in my NIROTC class. I was in volleyball and swimming. My philosophy is: I think that everyone should do the best for their own good. Clara Pope - I like vacations far away, sunsets, meeting people. Daniel Ray - 1Duray1 I like beach life, girl watching, parties, concerts. My most memorable time was Sweethearts, Graduation night. I'll never forget the night in Coronado. My plans are to kick back, get rich. Greatest accomplishment is graduat- ing. I was in the Carolina Kids. My philosophy is: Be one step ahead of the cops. Independent studies is the way to go but try to stick it out till your senior year. It is the best year. Patricia Reynolds - 1Trish1 I like being with my boyfriend, acting crazy with my sister and friends, and gabbing with people. My most mem- orable experience was meeting Mark. I'll never forget all my great friends at MV: C.S., L.R., K.M., N.P. and S.P., and all the people in ASB. I plan to go to college, get rich, and go to New York with Chris. My greatest accomplishment was becoming Valedictorian of the senior class. My most embarrassing moment was get- ting a ticket in 11th grade for doing illegal turning movements in my car. I was in ASB, Skippers, Pep Club, Choir, School Newspaper, and CSF. My philosophy is: Never let anybody run your life - do your own thing!
