Lessons are often recorded as they correspond with the instructor and hear their voices. Four languages are offered at M-RH. Among the languages offered to M-RH students are French, Spanish, German, and Latin. Next year the Language Department hopes to offer Russian, and a four year course in each of the languages. Records are also used in the classroom to ac- quaint the students with the language as it is 'spoken by natives. B-A-, Hafding COHS.-'36, M-M-, 20 THE In order for a student to have a well-rounded education, he should acquire an interest or some knowl- elge of many fields. The fine arts and practical arts departments of M-RH are designed to fill this need. The Fine Arts department offers art and music courses to help balance the students' program. The first year of art is intended to provide a basic train- ing in art, but more serious students may take up to three years of art. The different music courses which are offered are: orchestra, band, choir, and glee club. Out of these different music groups may develop many programs such as the annual spring concert.
