Honor teams were organized in Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball. Mem- bers were chosen on the basis of sportsmanship, participation, leadership, and skill. In order to remain eligible for G.A.A. every girl had to have 100 points. The girls obtained these points by participating in recreational activities. Extra points were earned outside of school by the same procedure. A letter was given to any member who earned 500 points. The highest award available to any member was a G.A.A. State Pin acquired by 1000 points. t 1 .' ,...vr I. 5. . ' 1 Vw . w x V A Compliments of KETTLER HARDWARE Duncan Sales and Service Jim Martin and Lloyd Green

This year more underclassmen have turned out, and the humorus division had a boy participating for the first time in years. A new addition to the speech activities was the organization of a debate team. Under the direction of Mr. Clouse, five students have met on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the year. The five students are Larry LeFebvre, LaVonne Uhl, Russell Olson, Shirley Kroeger, and Karen Bruning. In a contest at Buena Vista, Larry and LaVonne received excellent ratings.
