Warnes, C. Steiner, B. Hummel, Mrs. Fair, M. McClaHin. This year the Annual Staff worked to put together the biggest and best annual that Mapleton has ever had. The Editor-in-Chief, Barb Hummel and her assistant, Pat Stentz, along with the advisor, Mrs. Fair, helped the editors of the various sections with their work. Weekly meetings were held after school and there were several work nights to get the an- nual out on time. Since we had a new yearbook company this year, it was not possible to have the crest on the front of the annual unless extra money was paid to the company. There was an al- most unanimous decision by the staff to have the crest, even if it meant extra work. Stu- dents gave donations, the senior class do- nated, and the members of the stall' held two car washes in order to finance a crest for the cover of 1967 yearbook. Ad Salesmen ROW 7: G. Babiak,J. The purpose of the F.T.A. is to give students who are planning to enter the field of teaching some experience in their expected vocation. Therefore, members were assigned various teachers who they were to help by grading papers, tutoring, and sometimes teaching classes. One day was set aside for each member to actually teach the classes of his assigned teacher. For each duty the members performed, they were given a certain number of points.
