In Memoriam Iva Kinter was born january 2, 1949 and died February 20, 1967. She attended the Mapleton Schools for 12 years. In addition to her regular course of study, Iva was active in extra-curricular activities. During her senior year, she was president of G.A.A., and served on the Messenger Staff and Library Staff. Iva was well-liked and her presence is greatly missed by each of her classmates. Her quick smile, friendly personality, and cooperative spirit will always be remembered by the class of 1967. So live, that when thy summons comes tojoin The innumerable caravan, that moves To that mysterious realm, where each shall take His chamber in the silent halls of death, Thou go not, like the quarry-slave at night, Scourged to his dungeon, but, sustained and soothed, By an unfaltering trust, approach thy grave, Like one who wraps the drapery of his couch About him, and lies down to pleasant dreams.
