The Thornapple River rushes through the north end of Nashville, providing recre- ation and enjoyment to community residents. To keep this mighty water under control, this d un was built just behind the old mill in Nashville. This dam not only makes a beautiful waterfall, but also makes the community a safer place to live in. Raising money was the main goal for this year’s Junior class. The Juniors sponsored two dances and sold maga- zines as their class project. The Odds Are Against You,” the Jr. Play, was a success and will be long remembered by many Juniors. The class of '77 sponsored the prom and kept in the Bi- Centennial spirit by choosing Spirit of '76” as the theme. The Juniors also sponsored the annual Alumni Banquet in the spring.
