In October, they attended a clinic at Grand Rapids where they learned how to do a pompom routine to Be True To Your School by the Beach Boys. In January, at a state-wide clinic in Lansing they won a plaque for this routine. Before the year was over, another routine was done to Sweet Georgia Brown. Four seniors and two sopho- mores made up the squad. Practice makes perfect. Left to right: Charlotte Foote, Susan Hansen, Sarah Hansen, Sue Maurer, Pattie Gaedert, Susie Laurie. Junior varsity cheerleaders New peppy cheers added to the sparkle of the Junior Varsity cheerleaders this year. Attend- ing clinics, they brought home new motions and ideas to present to the students. They did pyramids and skits which made the games much livelier. Nice work JV’s!
