Our blood drive vvas a huge success again this year, just as it vvas in the past. This progress is due to the people who vvere responsible for our great response. The faculty helped us to get organized. The students from our junior, senior and sophomore classes all donated blood to the blood drive. Last but not least, Mrs. Thomas, the school nurse heads the en- deavor, One thing that has alvvays been fasci- nating about Shaders is their generosity. This year's blood drive vvas right up there with the best of them. We man- aged to out-do the previous year. Giving something of your ovvn to help some- one else alvvays gives one a real good feeling of gratification. After everyone gave his or her fair share, he or she was able to return to his normal day's activity. A glass of juice and a donut vvere provided for everyone. Glancing through the brochure, Gina Santore and Bob Bar- ' rett patiently wait their turn. People like them made the blood drive a big success. O I o D D . R - V .
