Retrospect Staff in Retrospect Finally, itfs finished! However, you'll never understand how hard it was to complete this yearbook. lt started out way back in September. For the first meeting, we had about twenty or so staff members very eager to begin work. All seemed great that day, but soon after staff members began disappearing. Now with only a few dedicated members, the work and deadlines began pouring in. Panic struck our depleted group. Grown teenagers became obsessed by cropping wheels, type writer ribbons, broken pencils, and photographs. Yet, through all the torment, we pre- vailed, lsometimes even seconds before our deadline. All was back to norma . Soon, however, more deadlines approached and the staff, now dwin- dled to six students and our advisor, Mrs. Fingerman, became buried with work. insanity gripped the crowd. Our editor, Dave Borginis, would break out with cries and moans as he searched frantically for the ladder diagram. The female staff members, Karen Klaus, Nikki Ivlarryott, and Heidi Madjeski would run frantically around the room, basically organiz- ing things, and cropping. Our copy editor, Rich Piccola constantly made odd sounds while contorting his face in a gruesome fashion, as he cropped his way to history. Everyone knew when layout editor Bill Stein was working due to the flying broken pencils and the hysterical fits of uncontrollable laughter. This, laughter was nothing compared to the stress Mrs. Fingerman felt all throughout the year. Eventually, through the smoke, flying papers, rubber bands, broken pencils, and crushed doubts, a finished yearbook could be seen, the final product of months of hard work. The staff members looked in amazement and pride. A light could be seen shining through the windows and all the disappearing members were found. All was again well in Yearbook Land. ts i t J aa X5 QW Q Q X X X XXX QNX Wigs fx is :f - ' fv la ' 5' '
