Q T Victorious again! The performance of the Maple Shade girl's soccer team can k described in one word. That word is victorious. They played a grey season and came out on top. They worked their way up to tl playoff games in November against the best in the league. With lv Lupini as coach, the team climbed over the rest. The varsity teaml the youngest in all of South lersey, but they worked to prove 1 ability. The forward line consisted mostly of Sophomores and goal tender is even younger. The team relied on its Seniors to 11 theirgexperience with newcomers. The Maple Shade girl's so : team is a great example of winning teamwork. y .sry Cross Running Free This year, cross country retained its respectable record in Free dom Division. Coach Mitchell and the team worked diligently tl achieve a 10-2 record. Unfortunately, the team lost to Delran earl' on in the season which meant they would not win the Division lik- they had the previous five years. Undaunted by this loss, the tean continued on to vvin all the other division meets. Much to thel disappointment, the team did not qualify for states either, so thel could not become Group I champions. Without a doubt, the crod country team performed outstandingly this year and with it carrid amazing potential for next year. Thank God, I'm done! Chris lacovini crosses the finish line ahead of a Riverside runner. Chris did a fine job running this year.
