A Fairy Tale The student body of Maple Shade High School put its all into Spirit Week this year. This year's events were familiar, with name variation. Monday was Rock T-shirt day, with shirts ranging from the Beastie Boys to lron Maiden. Tuesday was Back- wards Day. Students land even a few teachersj wore shirts and pants backwards or inside out. Wednesday was Sports Day, with a variety of Varsity football shirts and Flyer's jerseys. Thursday was Hawaiian Beach Day, as Maple Spirit Week with jams shorts and Hawaiian shirts. Fri- day was Blue-and-Cold Day, as it is every year, as well as the pep rally. The hallway decorations were marvelous this year. The theme was llFairy Tales , and every class used this to a great extent. The Class of '88 did Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the Class of '89 took us to Oz, and we journeyed with Alice to Wonderland with the Class of f9O and climbed to new heights with the Class of '91's lack and the Beanstalk. The Class of 1989 won the hallway dec- orations, and the Class of 1988 won the Shade spent july in October, Spirit Stick.
