Lunch has always been the responsible for making sure our lunches are time to socialize. delicious. - Let's Eat! One thing that many Shaders take for granted is school lunch. A lot of work goes into that lunch that always seems to be waiting for you 5th period. The staff in the cafeteria starts work early, before home- room, to prepare a nutritious lunch for all the high school students. What lunch means varies from stu- dent to student. Whether lunch is just a time to eat, socialize, or catch up on some homework you didn't finish, lunch in the cafeteria is always a welcome pause in a long day. Government Day 'Students in Government is an educational experience providing an awareness of what government is all about. The students learn as they enact the various positions to which they are assigned. WStudents in Government Day is an extreme- ly positive activity in which the Rotary Club of Maple Shade involves students in the events con- cerned with governing Maple Shade. On Decem- ber 8 students worked with school board mem- bers and school officials and observed duties. Those participating in the event, which included students receiving Rotary Certificate of Merit Awards at a School Board meeting, were: Dr. Sherry and his counterpart, Michele Dickman, Ro- tary President and School Board member Horace MacAdams with loanne Guilliford, Board Attor- ney Col. Howard R. Yocum with Richard Kings- borough, Board President Linda Dickman with Ting Cosper, Business Administrator and Board Secretary Steven M.
