Band Meets New Challenges in Marching The Maple Heights High School band successfully undertook and completed an ambitious marching season. Highlighted by a trip to a Browns game and a Bandorama, Mr. Stone's band this year received more attention than in recent years. They played in a combined show with the bands of Bedford and Gar- field at the halftime of the Browns- Redskins game at the Cleveland Stadium. The Maple 96 also marched in a Bandorama at Nordonia and returned with a handsome trophy that has since been added to their growing collection. After marching season, the band members returned to tind Mr. Stone's wit as sharp as ever, as he sought to mold his musicians into a well- rehearsed concert band. Mr. Stone succeeded. The spring concert brought the band well-deserved ac- claim. MAJORETTES-First Row: N. Bistarkey, J. Hunter, Row: K. Cuttaia, J. Lucician. Third Row: 5. Davidson. Head Maiorette, D. Jasek.
