October 10 marked one of the high- lights of the football season-the 1969-70 Homecoming weekend. Activities began on Thursday eve- ning with a big parade and pep rally which featured floats representing the three classes, Student Council and Art Club. Music for the occasion was pro- vided by a pep band from the Maple Heights High Marching Band. Specta- tors along the route were introduced to the queen candidates. The candi- dates for queen were Laura Carcione, Pat Chaye, Kathy Cuttaia, Deb Foster and Karen Skunta. During the half-time show of the Midpark football game that Friday, a radiant Miss Kathy Cuttaia, escorted by Kevin Flanagan, was crowned 1969-70 Homecoming Queen. Saturday evening, a large crowd enioyed dancing to the sound of the Sensations as a finale to a great weekend. Radiant with joy, Kathy Cuttaia is crowned Maple's Homecoming Queen. A large, glittering crown gave a regal touch to the beautiful decorations. Kathy and her escort, Kevin i Flanagan, begin the Queen's V Dance.
