I One of the newer clubs at Maple Heights Senior High School is the Spanish Club. Members, who are second-year Spanish students, participate in frequent conversation sessions. With the help of Miss Shirley Kreps, the students have given their club a permanent and respected name in the extra-curricular acitvities program. 44' The Future Nurses Club is a club for those girls who are interested in nursing as a profession. Vis- iting different hospitals and making Scrapbooks and favors are the main function of this club. All girls in grades ten through twelve with an interest in nursing are eligible to join. , 414.4 3 ame ' The Home Economics Club is composed of girls who want to further their interests in homemaking. Membership is open to any senior high school girl who has successfully completed one year of Home Economics. Club members serve at school banquets, prepare Christmas baskets for needy families, make favors for hospitals, plan the Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tomorrow Test, and sponsor the Twirp Dance. The latter is a novel activity where the girl invites the boy.
