IN DEDICATION . lt is with sincere and gratifying appreciation that we, the class of 1949, dedicate this Yearbook to the Faculty of Maple Heights High School in honor of their true and ever-faithful service to their students. There is no one certain teacher whom we could choose as doing more for us than any other, for each and every one contributed in some manner to our well being. They strived to teach us, help us, and by rounding out our lives in the educational phase, they gave us the opportunities to advance in any way we wish in the future years. Their duties were numerous and varied, and much of their time was spent without acknowledgement, in benefiting us, their pupils. We might have criticized too freely or uniustly in our high school years, but behind all of that we have felt a deep pride in the work of our faculty, and in this way we would like to express our gladness and thankfulness that we had our teachers as instructors and friends along the way. THE CLASS OF 1949
