Sec'y CLASS ADVISER What can we put into words that would in any g way thank him for the guidance and understand- ing he has given us,--the graduating class of nine- teen hundred and forty-six? His time, one of life's greatest assets, was dedicated to all of our under- takings. When problems arose, his was a listen- ing ear to all difficulties. There is always a reason for problems, and often it takes an expert to find the cause and work out the answer. Our cham- pion is Mr. Frank Mraz. 10 A

Miss Louise Ketterer-B.S., M.A., English, lournalism Miss Ketterer has been at Ma- ple Heights for eighteen years and was at North Royalton before then. She attended Ohio State University and Columbia Universi- ty. Mr. Frank I. Mraz-B.S., Chem- istry, Physics, and Gen- eral Science Mr. Mraz has been at Maple Heights for thirteen years. He taught at Lake Chautauqua Pri- vate School for Boys and in New York before then. He attended Otterbein College, Ohio State Uni- versity, Kent State University, Western Reserve University, and Case. Mr. Mraz also has charge of visual education and is senior class adviser. Mr. Everett W. Thomas-A.B., Instrumental Music Direc- YO? Mr. Thomas has been at Maple Heights for four years. Before coming to Maple Heights, he taught at Mount Pleasant and Dillonvale, Ohio. He attended West Liberty State College, Uni- versity of Pittsburgh, and Ohio State University, Mrs. Doris Toth-B.S., Home Ec- onomics Mrs. Toth has been teaching for three years, the last two being at Maple Heights. She formerly taught at Rising Sun, O., and has attended Ohio State University. Mrs. Toth sponsors the Home Eco- nomics Club. Miss Mildred Winter-A.M., Eng- lish Miss Winter has been teaching at Maple Heights for seven years and taught at Cleveland and Terre Haute before coming to Maple Heights. Sh e attended lndiana State University, Columbia Uni- versity, and University of Berlin in Berlin, Germany. Miss Winter su- pervises the supply store. Miss Helen Krueger-A.B., B.S., Librarian Miss Krueger has been at Maple Heights for two years. She worked at Toledo Public Library before coming to Maple Heights, and at- tended the University of Michigan and Western Reserve School ot Library Science. Mrs. Helen Skuza-A.B., Mathe- matics Mrs. Skuza has been at Maple Heights for sixteen years, She at- tended Hiram College. She has charge of the sale of Activity Books. Mr. H. Duard Thompson-M.A., American History, Ameri- c a n Government, a n d American Problems Mr. Thompson has been at Ma- ple Heights tor twelve years. He taught at Bucyrus, 'Ohio, and lewett, Ohio, and attended Ohio Wesleyan, Ohio University, Mount Union, and Western Reserve. Mr. Thompson is adviser of Foreign Affairs, Debate Club, and head of social studies department. Mr. Robert Whittier-B.S., His- tory and Geography Mr. Whittier has been teaching for one year at Maple Heights. He attended Miami University in Ox- ford, Ohio. He is also an assistant coach in boys' athletics. Mr. T. Donavan Wy I i e-A.B., Boys' Physical Education Mr. Wylie has been at Maple Heights for fifteen vears. He at- tended Otterbein College and Ohio University. He is coach of the football and basketball teams.
