In a beautiful new building atop the Administra- tive Office, the Media Center Workers may get some increased recognition over past years, yet still the jobs of issuing books, and setting up Manzano's increasing number of equipment for presentations remains to be a thankless job. The library and its workers have helped tremendously with more open hours. For a time this year, they were open nights from 6:30 to 9:00 and all during semester finals week. C L Q M t Z Q LKJ Counseling Aide Benefits Many of Manzano's Students Aside from normal counselor activities, such as changing schedules, helping students choose an objective for the future, our counselors have taken a sincere interest in Manzano's students as indi- viduals, spending hundreds of voluntary hours at Manzano activities and just being with the students at their level. The special ability that a counselor has to have for being able to see deep into a per- son's personal problem and help him decide within himself what is right for him, is so often lost under the mounds of clerical paper work, but not so for our counselors.
