Jeanne Shaw Takes First in State for Karate Form The public's view of Karate is an enormous miscon- ception, said Jeanne Shaw, Karate Club's secretary. Onlookers believe that students of Karate are merely a minority of scrappers who get off on fighting. There are literally millions of people studying the art. It is an art that can't be mastered.
