The students are taught by the audio-lingual method which stresses understand- ing, speaking, reading and writing in the other language. Manzano is equipped with a language lab which contains individual earphones that enable the students to hear themselves. The lab also has numerous tapes which helps the students with pronunciation. The languages offered are Spanish, French, German, and Russian. By learning a second language, the student opens doors to opportunity and fulfillment in life.
