Mr. Brown and Miss Lydia Strand, assistant principal, devote innumerable hours to running the school as efficiently and productively as possible. Control of school activities, attendance, supervision of the library, and book distribution constitutes an immense job but the Manzano staff of approximately eighty-five has never failed to carry out school policy and assure its students of a secure and well-operated school in which each individual's significance is recognized and encouraged.
