To students talented in the literary field falls the job of writing and editing Manzano's annual literary maga- zine, the PHAETHON. Creative writing classes under the guidance of Howard Mensch furnish most of the short stories, plays, and poetry which are included in the maga- zine, but selections are also accepted from any student who wishes to submit a manuscript for judging. These talented students worked together to present an edition which is entirely new. As a new innovation the '68 PHAE- THON will feature a new size and format and will utilize art work.
