Neatfeld X Honor Choir Officers: Richard Rood, pres, Pam Michael, sec, Carolyn Simpson, treasg Craig Brown, vice-pres. Comprised of the modern choir, honor choir, and the men's ensemble, the chorus, led by David Muth, is a group of talented and well-trained young people. Manzano seems to have been gifted with an extraordinary amount of talent, shown by their performances. Participants in each of these choirs are called out individually by Mr. Muth and placed in the group best suited for their talent. The Manzano chorus participated in several city concertsthroughout the year. To raise funds, members of the choirs sold pre-Christmas candy to support their many activities.

John Gaston, Orchestra instructor The Manzano Orchestra, directed by John Gaston, is com- prised of twenty-five talented young people interested in music. They derive vast pleasure from performing in concerts such as the one held before Christmas, and they serve Manzano by attending the annual Young Symphony, and the All-State competition. In this way Manzano is represented by an outstanding group where competition is stiff. Two of the outstanding student leaders of the orchestra are Bob Steider, president, and Craig Brown, manager. The orchestra has had a successful and entertaining year in the '67-'68 school term. 1967-68 Manzano High School Orchestra
