They also sent delegates to the model United Nations at the College of Santa Fe. An outdoor life is one which is very inspiring, and espe- cially to those who are in the Manzano riding club. Members ride every other Sat. morning at Four Hills Riding Stables. In addition to the regular trailrides, the club, under the spon- sorship of Mrs. JoAnne Fink, also plans several other kinds of rides to give variety to the club's activities. l53

4 Interest in ussia Prompts Club Students who are interested in the Russian langua or culture, will find an opportunity to learn more abo these areas by joining the Russian club. The club, unde sponsorship of James Murdoch, is not fully educational, however, about one half of its activities are social. German Club Re-Organized A relatively new club at Manzano is the German Club, an organization for anyone interested in Germany, its tradi- ' tions, land, and the language. It quenches the curiosity that students develop during their daily studies in school. One of the bi-monthly meetings is devoted to business and the other is generally a social gathering.
