Bookroom Assistants Help aintain Texts The job of taking care of the school's textbooks falls to the bookroom helpers. These students give of their time in re- pairing damaged books, listing lost books, and keeping track of the texts on the shelves. They also assist Mrs. Ruth Cooney in all other aspects of bookroom. In a job which is much harder than it would initially seem, these students per- form an invaluable service for the stu- dents and faculty of Manzano. Bookroom assistants: Sheryl McFadden, Cheryl Van Bibber, Nancy Brunt, Ronnie Jimenez, Mrs. Ruth Cooney Front row: Mary Daniels, Marsha Braaten, Penny Robinson, Jan Pratt, Library assistants perform a valuable assistance to the school. These students use their study halls to assist in shelving books, check- ing out books, assisting with reference materials, and providing assist- ance for any students who need help in finding a specific book or information. They also help the librarians in processing and cataloging new books as they arrive and in mending the older worn books. Without the help of these girls, the library would be unorganized and inefficient. 1 ., 4 -,if Michelle McManemy, Row 2: Mrs Aluera Douglas Barbara Trethewa - v Y, Mary Ann Richards, Alice Marple, Librarian's Work During Study Halls Front row: Nancy Lawrence, Janet Johnson, Bonnie Mahon, Rhonda Snidow, Miss Dena Domenicali, Betty Garcia, Bev Johnson, Ruby Ballard. l5l
