Students interested in France, its people, language and customs are encouraged and invited to join. French teachers, Joe Carpenter and Mrs. Julie Stone, are the club sponsor. An extensive amount of movies, magazines, newspapers, books, and brochures on the French culture have been collected by the club through its various projects and activities. Among the activities of the French Club in '67-'68 were a pastry sale, caroling party, ski venture, and the Language Alliance Program. I47

The club discusses on topics of interest to the members. They also make an annual trip to Chichuahua, Mexico, with any other language student who wishes to participate. On this tour they see many of the cultural attractions of the beautiful Mexican city. In many ways the Spanish Club is beneficial and entertaining for all those who participate.
