Mrs. Alice Brice, Thespian 8t Monarch Players Spon- SOI' The Thespians are a group of honor drama students who have worked in a pro- duction while in Monarch Players and have earned the minimum of points. Through their work in the drama club, they must prove themselves hardworking and sincere in their preparation of the theatre. Members of the N.H.S. must maintain a 3.5 average as scholarship is the main factor in determining membership. Leadership, character and service are other important requirements. Though it is an honorary club, the Honor Society performs services to the school such as providing ushers for graduation. Mrs. Alice Brice, in her first year, as drama coach, directed the highly successful and delightful three-act performance which played to SRO crowds and starred Bill Craig, Laurie Wilson, Russ Sauders, and Shelly Con- nery as well as many others. Other pro- ductions planned for the year include a more serious drama and the direction of an all-school talent show.
