fdifor if Preface Like Alice each and every one of us has passed through a wonderland-the wonderland of growing up. It was a place where the seeds of fantasy slowly grew and developed into blos- soms of reality-a land of make-believe sprinkled with stardust and sand. We lived in a strang exciting world of our own, a world full of white Rabbits, Mad Hatters, and talking Caterpillars. Time seemed to stand still and the future was something far away, a hazy shadow in the distance. Then suddenly, one day we blinked our eyes and it was all goneg the dream was over. This is. the stage of life we have now reached. One door has shut and a new one is about to be opened. We can close our eyes and try to recapture our lost dream or keep them open, wide and alert, ready to face the future and the dream of what is to come. That which has passed cannot be recaptured or relived, yet memories always linger on and are never forgotten. So be it with the remembrances of Manual. Let us keep these memories and cherish them forever. They are the key that will open the door to the next threshold of our lives. Sincerely, Roberta Rumsky
