Seniar Diary Dear Diary: Graduation at last! Can't help feeling sentimental. It's all over now but the memories. Why it was only yesterday that we were all so excited about becoming Seniors? How time does fly! Gee, things certainly did change this term. The school was getting a face-lifting and we got up early to watch. Even the clanging of the plumbers couldn't keep us awake during our first period. Remember all the excitement when we took our graduation pictures? Boy, was that a day! The photographer sure had his hands full. Then came orders for Senior jewelry. After spending all that money, we knew we just had to graduate. Our Senior play was going to be the best Manual had ever seen. lVe started to work furiously at writing a play. OKLAHOMA was our theme. Rodgers and Hammerstein would certainly be proud of us. Senior elections took place and that kept us on pins and needles for a day. Practically everyone threw his hat into the ring. The results were finally posted and the school drew a sigh of relief-for a while. No sooner were we Hnished with those elections, than Senior Celebrities were in the running. Another uproar took place. We drove poor Mr. Kaplan plumb crazy. After that everything seemed to fly by. Yearbook orders-35.50. Well, they're putting our names in the front, BUT 8550! fIt's only money.j So much was hap- pening at once-the Senior Tea, the boat ride, and, of course, the Prom. I guess the rest is all history. You know, diary, if I had to do it over again, it would be just as wonderful.
