NEW HOMEMAKERS OF AMERICA The New Homemakers of America is a national organiza- tion of pupils studying homemaking in junior and senior high schools. It is a non-profit corporation which has for its pur- pose the development of social qualities, the provision for wholesome recreational activities and the promotion of better home life for its members and their families. The club participates in the State Rally held in Langston, Oklahoma, and co-sponsors with the N. F. A. a banquet and ball. At the present time, a community beautification project is under way. LE CERCLE FRANCAIS After the absence of a course in French for several years, it was re-instated in the curriculum in 1954 with Mr. C. A. Riley as instructor. Under his guidance, Le Circle Francais was organized in 1959. The organization, commonly known as the French Club, now has a membership of '70 members.
