XV! .,--'A Head Boy cmd Head Girl ANUAL'S highest position, that of Head Boy, was ably filled during 1927-'28 by Carl Schneider, an elhcient and hard work- ing student. His time was given freely to help others. Everyone who greeted him received a cheery response that warmed the heart. Carl is an all-around boy-captain of the basketball team, a talented mu- sician, active in social work and a member of the hlanual Chapter of the National Honor Society. WVork well done is always appreciated. This was true in Carl's case, for at the half year the students unani- mously re-elected him. As Carl's co-worker and lVIanual's indispensable helper, Lucille Lewis made a charming Head Girl. Beneath her lustrous dark hair are plenty of brains which make her a level-headed and purposeful young woman. Also a member of the National Honor Society and president of the Girls' League, she has made her influence felt thruout the school. When she turns her hand to any work, it is done quickly, quietly and efficiently. Though the school may not be the wiser as to who has done the work, it is certainly a better place for Lucille's magic touch. Maiiual has been very fortunate this year in its head boy and head girl.
