The magic of Peter with his boyish charm, will wisk you away to Never-Never Land with a puff of fairy dust. The Manual Theater company performed Pe- ter's magic on stage on April 18 and 19. Playing the role of Peter was Amy Thomas, a veteran actress with the company. The ominous Captain Hook and his side kick, Mr. Smee were portrayed by Scott Luthy and Xavier Iackson. Scott has been with the company for four years, this year taking the position of co-stage manager. This was Xavier's first year on the stage. The Darling children were portrayed by Eric Gore lMichaell, Scottie Giesler Uohnj and Alex Demitrijevic lWendyl. The entire cast and crew worked long, hard hours in order to prepare for the production. They presented very successful performances including one given for the student body on Friday during sixth hour. 2. 1. Captain Hook, Scott Luthy, tries to make a get away. 2. To be a member of the National Honor society, a student must meet many requirements. The academic re- quirements set a minimum average of 3.0. A minimum of 150 service hours during one school year is also required in order for a student to be considered for membership. This means that the student has either re- ceived a Manual Service Award or earned a letter in a sport or an aca- demic activity. Leadership and char- acter are also important require- ments that must be met in order to become a member. If the student meets all of these requirements, he or she is then in- ducted into the Society. 2. 1, Row 1, L to R: Kelly Hajnal, Crystal Hudson, Deanna Trent, Chris Crowley, Iohanna Ahten, Kathryn Voegele. Wins came against Bergan, Wood- ruff, and Morton. The best perfor- mance, as a team, was against Central, a 1-0 loss. By the end of the season the team made a big im- provement in hitting and defense. If the younger girls stick together and work hard they could become a good nucleus by their senior year. Their four guests soon arrive only to find themselves snow bound. The snow also brought Mrs. Paravinci lMeg Van Gundyl. This mysterious lady was traveling from London when her car overturned in the snow. This accounts for everyone except Detective Trotter lRich Heinzl. Trotter came to investigate a murder which oc- curred earlier that day in London. Each of the resort guests were considered suspect by the detective. As detective Trotter is questioning his suspects, Mrs. Boyle lHolly Biggerl is murdered. This brings the count to two. Detective Trotter asked for a reinactment of everyone's actions to try to find out what happened. His one change was that he switched everyone and told them to do what the other people were doing. FALL PLAYf107 The 1985 Cross-Country season was a challenging one for the running Rams. The harriers were young, with no Seniors on the team. The lack of experienced varsity runners was a big question mark be- fore the season began. As in the past several years of cross country competition, success was no stranger to this year's squad. KEY CLUBf157 YEARBUUK ST FF W E fx This year's yearbook staff worked hard to make your memories of 85- 86 GRAND!!! They went through special lengths to present this book to you. The yearbook is about organizing layouts, writing stories, and making captions for pictures. The staff went to a seminar to learn new ideas, new ways to set up a yearbook and different themes that could be used. To become a member of the year- book staff you will give up your study hall and spend it in the year- book room. It is a good experience to have and also it's all around fun! 1. Sitting: Sheila McMurtry, Charice Broadway, Rosa Vargas, Teresa Wilkins. Standing: Kim Adams, Sherre Polk, Mary Brown, Andre Morgan, Mrs. Kleinow. Not pictured: April Lowe. 2.
