Look Ahead We must look ahead - accept, Welcome, and adapt new and better ideas and then, and only then, will our inquiring minds be challenged. Let go of the old and reach out for the newg reach out to success. We, as Manual students, must gain the desire to excel. Once out of high school, we will have to look ahead - take a road to somewhere, whether it be going to college, finding a job, joining the armed services,or getting married. The important thing is to do the best we possibly can. While we are here We must secure Worthwhile and lasting interests as well as attain skill in apar- ticular field. Thus, as maturing young adults we will expand our abilities and accept our limitations. For ma.ny people graduation will mark the time to be thinking of wedding bells and white lace. Nancy Steinbach holds up a lacey bridal gown so that Chris Martin can examine it more closely. Practical working experience prepares us for the future. Linda Wynn is an example of the many Manual students who are gaining this experience. '

Nancy Steinbach Church. Pursue Endless Horizons Is there a final horizon-a limit to our vision-a boundary to our thoughts and growth? No! First we see a new horizon-then another- finally we catch a glimpse of endless horizons. We are able to pursue these hosizons for as long as we are willing to learn, to help, to achieve. To reach these horizons we must grow spiritually and culturally as well as intellectuallyg with this growth comes an awariness of our civic responsibilities. Our minds have no boundaries, neither have our hearts. Our minds will expand with each day as long as we are willing 'to 'struggle to consume knowledge and to sympathize with our fellow men. By learning to understand and to appreciate cultural advancement one can easily see that boundaries of the mind and thoughts do not exist. Lydia Sljusar and Maryanne Shatkus strive to understand a Bradley student's point of view.
