Under the direction of Miss Ginevra Chivington, the ensemble of ten girls sang the immortal works of Foster in approximately thirty appearances throughout the city. Costumed in lovely pastel gowns fashioned after the Civil War IM ,QL ,gf period, the Stephen Foster Singers formed a charming picture. Their lx perfect blend of voices, balance of parts, and tone quality made them i X .l ii x u D the most outstanding vocal ensemble in the history of Manual.
