WE ARE PROUD BECAUSE... Clay Johnson, junior of the 1972-73 basket- ball team, was dubbed as ALL METRO. ALL DISTRICT. ALL STATE varsity player for the 1973 basketball team from Manual. Homer PledQer. another product of Miss Vivian Washington, and a graduating senior In 1973. also received A ratings in both festivals. Rodney Henderson, a graduating senior in the class of 1973 received A ratings in the district music festival, held at William Jewell College, and the state vocal music festival held at Colum- bia. Mo. Our Industrial Arts Department, under the guidance of Mr. Audrey Davis, entered many fine examples of craftsmanship in the exhibition held at the Kansas City Vocational-Technical Center, last year. They received excellent ratings for their good works. 8 Charles Albritton, a 1972-73 sophomore was hailed for super track performance. He won first place awards in the 100 yard dash. 220 and the 440 yard dashes at the state track meet held at Columbia. Mo He was named ALL CITY. ALL DISTRICT and ALL STATE performer.
