Our social studies shows every aspect of it. What does it actually consist of? During our sophomore year, we have World Cultures, which brings us back to our forefathers. Taught in our junior year is U.S. History, a record of man ' s past, in government, wars, etc. as a senior, we learn about the government, taking us back from our first go ernnient to uhat currently is happening. Being involved with art is ery challenging, because there are so many ways to use art. Classes that are taught by our three art teachers, are from basic drawing, ceramics, to arts crafts. The Career Minded The vocational department offers the chance for the students of Dominguez to prepare for their future careers. These classes are designed to expand the students knowledge. The Business dept. offers classes such as shorthand, typing and also business machines. The young men have the opportunity to take classes in auto mechanics, welding, woodshop, drafting, electronics, and graphic arts which are designed to help these students learn a vocation. Urs.
