Mixed. Acapella. etc , and band are taught by our fine music teachers Music of a different sort is heard in the Foreign Language Department The music of Spanish or French can be heard daily revited by students Teaching a young woman the fine art of homemaking is the job undertaken by the homemaking teachers. Sewing, making food and keeping a house in tip- top shape, are |ust some of the many things learned Young men. with military-oriented careers, are helped in this field by our Aero- Space instructors They introduced a student to the many opportunities of a military career Above Miss Lopez goes over some difficult pronunciation with her students Below Going over the day ' s lesson plan with a camera on you is not always easy A . f-i . Math - The Language of Numbers Another aspect of a student ' s academic life, is the need for math courses Needing a firm background in math, many of the students have taken courses ranging from Math A to Pre-Calculus Math A IS a prerequisite to Algebra lA The other Algebra courses in turn provide a background which helps a student in Geometry and the advanced Algebra II Pfoceeding these courses are Physics and Pre-Calculus Bessie Barnes StillmanC-BS, U of Alabama MA A telephone call to break up the monotony of the day.
