Williams R Blair A Frame In the past years the Dominguez High School Band was fairly small and not recognized by the student body as much as it should have been 1973. this is the year of the band The band with its some sixty members displayed great musical talent In our assemblies, parades, and outside competition The band took first place in the Compton Christmas Parade They are sponsored by Mr D Patterson, who did an exceptional job in working with the members The band worked hard to raise money for their new uniforms One fund raising activity was a candy sale, that brought in most of the needed money It is unfortunate that the uniforms arrived too late in the year Some of the members of the band were asked to play at the Compton College Homecoming Festivities, which was truly a great honor The band plays at homecoming o a n ti I »fc.
