I ! . i ' e I BLOOD Play to win is what the athletes have been conditioned to think while they play To be a good sport IS a good philosophy and a good thing to practice, but if you are an athlete and thought about being a good sport while competing against other athletes they would not accomplish anything but create frustrated athletes So we can take It that we have been playing to win because when it comes to sports Dommguez can honestly say that we have done extremely well in all sports But It didn ' t just happen. It took good coaches and good athletes who weren ' t afraid of hard work because that is what it took to make Dommguez rate high in the area of sports To face the cold hard facts It took hours of practicing and sometimes brutal punishment to their own bodies to condition for the harder times to come, the real thing, competing against the other schools BLOOD is a reality, whether it is blood of the opponent or the blood of our fellow athlete, it IS there.
