WE THE PEOPLE When are we the people going to be able to see it together? To understand the question in relationship to Dominguez High School, reality is going to be put up front. Where would an athlete be without the coaches? The harsh, grueling, muscle aching hours of practicing, studying, and repracticing that the coaches inflict on them. But then again, where would a coach be without an athlete? Blood, fiction or fact is involved with sports, so we give you BLOOD. Where would the educator be if no one was there to educate? Empty desks, empty buildings, no school. And how would the student learn if there was no educator? It is very hard and sometimes impossible to have one without the other. But if we work together learning will be resumed once again. The opening of books, the scratching of pencils and finally the testing of what was taught. The sweat of the teachers making up the exam compared to the students taking it is running a close race. So to education we give you SWEAT. And finally we come to the sector that rounds out our reality. Activities. What would a dance be without dancers, a candy sale without sellers, and a play without actors and actresses. Separate the two and you have nothing, but TOGETHER makes all the difference. Tears of joy and tears of sorrow are elements that make up activities, so we shall dedicate TEARS to you. BLOOD, SWEAT and TEARS is our reality and hopefully WE THE PEOPLE can see it together.
