DEDICA TION It is with great respect that the Senior Class of 1967 dedicates its annual to Superintendent E. L. Vitalis who has dedicated his life to education. To the students he leaves these words: Throughout all of our lives we have been taught that there is no ending, only commencement. When we graduate from high school to face a new life, we call it commencement. The same is true when we leave col- lege. Why then, should it be any different when we finish a lifetime of work and face again an uncertain future? We like to look at this also as a commencement. We expect to cut our work load to a minimum. The time we spend playing golf, fishing, reading good books, and watching sports events will be at a maximum, WE HOPE. One tiling I have learned in my lifetime is to try not to worry too much about tomorrow. The big worries you think you are facing will quickly become vague memories in your yesterdays. Plan your tomorrows carefully so that your todays will be pleasant, effective, and useful; and thus your yesterdays will not be cluttered with re- grets. The nine years I have spent at K-M have been a very short, happy interlude in a long life of many experi- ences. To you, nine years is a long time, from the time you were little nine-year-olds in the fourth grade to your graduation from high school. I hope those years are filled with pleasant memories, and that I have left some small imprint in your development. I wish you success and happiness in whatever vocation you are planning for yourself.
